After the Blues caught fire and won the cup in '19 Binnington got a 2 year deal at $4.4 AAV. Assuming Husso does not catch absolute fire and lead the Blues to the cup the way Binner did in 2019, I think a 2 year deal is still right but the AAV is likely smaller. I shaved $1 million off. Maybe a little high but with the threat of UFA it's probably fair.

Perron is tricky. There's not many comparables to guys producing at his age. Pavelski signed a three year deal a hair under 35 years old at $7 AAV. Perron is a year younger than Pavelski was, I don't think is as open to leaving as Pavelski was, and doesn't quite have his numbers. He's due a raise on a short term deal but what's the number? I'm going to gamble at 3 years at $5.5.

I'm leaving Tarasenko alone. No idea what's going to happen.

Would like to re-sign Leddy or bring Ian Cole back but I think both would command more than the remaining $1.975 AAV in cap space the Blues have left. We optimally would need someone around $1 million. Bargain bin shopping! I closed my eyes and picked Brad Hunt, but, whoever... 3rd pairing D-man for a million bucks.

Could be that boring of a summer? Tarasenko is the wildcard I think.
