Description

Kovy comes back to the franchise that drafted him. Jets can roll two top lines that force difficult matchups. bottom 6 has skill but must find chemistry to prevent negative possession numbers.

Trouba and Morrissey continue to grow into the top pairing. Buff gets a stay at home partner in Smith and without having to play 30 minutes a night can dominate in 24 minutes a night. Third pairing minutes for Myers and Enstrom should keep them from getting injured.

Darling gets signed to give the Jets two quality young starters. May the best man win.

The only way that any other team than NJ can get Kovy, is via trade. Any other possibility is that every other team says it's fine for WPG to sign Kovy. Never gonna happen, so NJ has to sign and trade him.

New Jersey still owns his rights, So they'e to sign him and then trade him and it will be a team of his own chosen so i seriously doubt he winds up in Winnipeg.

I'm sure Kovi moved from Russia and their winters, not to go to Russia again in Winnipeg. That's way to pay for a 34 year old who may bolt to Russia again. The Jets have offence can do better for 6,5 At 4.5m Darling better be NHL starter.
