No need more than 1 season... Also Matthews had 40 goals with 4 goals/5 points in 6 Post Season games... Even Doug Weight had a 100 point season among others in Edmonton . The guy isn't better than Drew Doughty or Brent Burns who are D-men. Murray already has 2 cups, Quick has 2 cups, hard to compare him to goalies, though Talbot played over 80 games this season to get Oilers where they ended up in Playoffs. The Great 8, Stamkos, Crosby, Tarasenko, he still has a while to go... There others who could debate if they are better or not, though his contract was one of the best values if nothing else . He panned out better than Yakupov, he had a decent surrounding cast of talent too. I wasn't that impressed by him in the Post Season personally, Super Mario was the best when he played . He could become the best but don't think can say he is after 1 good year on team that had a nice run...

not yet. he is definately the most electrifying player in the league that is for sure. he has 2-3 years before he can claim best title. and at 13.25m for next 8 yrs he is also gonna be the cap killer. next year when both his and leon's new caps kick in they will have around 14m left in cap space to sign 11 players that will need new contracts. good luck with that one.
