Teddy has 7 goals and 10 assists in 587 minutes at even strength.
Boeser has 8 goals and 11 assists in 840 minutes at even strength.
Teddy is also one of the best penalty killers in the league and is on a very friendly contract. This might sound insane to you, but that's a no including Teddy. Especially with Boeser's next contract. Can't do it.

Okay, but you shouldn't compare strictly even strength points, because Blueger would be lousy on the power play, you don't apologize for being a powerplay specialist and getting many of your points with the man advantage

No, Boeser is way more valuable than Kapanen. Even after adding Pettersson, this is a very generous offer

You do compare even strength points because Boeser would be on PP 2, so the opportunities wouldn't be there as often. Also, even strength is the vast majority of the game so I'm not paying for a guy that produces at the same rate as Teddy, despite playing with JT Miller.

Any player's numbers would go down after being taken of the first PP unit, that doesn't change the fact that Boeser still has a lethal shot and has very high hockey IQ, I'm sure Boeser has a higher expected goals rate than Blueger. Blueger's offensive numbers don't look very sustainable to me

He is shooting the same 10% at 5v5 he has the last 2 seasons, the biggest difference is he is doing a much better job getting high danger chances on net. He has become more selective with his shots and it's resulting in a ton of quality chances.
