Signing a defenseman for anything more than 1 year would be a mistake. They should just continue to let their players develop. They have a solid team now and will likely be a contender in a couple years. Feels strange saying that about Columbus but they're building a very strong team

Just can't eliminate cap by placing players on LTIR. Like many CBJ players, but they are close to the cap and are a non playoff team. Admitting CBJs need a vet Dman but why overpay the average Franson.
