I think we roll with Ruhwedel for the rest of the regular season and keep Friedman as a scratch. However, I do think he should play over Ruhwedel for the playoffs. Hes been great for us. He's physical, goes to the dirty areas, makes some great saves like we saw against Columbus, he goes after the biggest guys, draws penalties, and would just overall be a great fit on Matheson's line. I like Friedman's defensive work which leaves more room for Matgeson to contribute offensively. That 3rd pair would be very dangerous. I love Ruhwedel and how hes played this season so I think taking him out of the lineup while hes already played more than half the season is just unfair, so we give him the rest of the games and give Friedman the playoffs since hes the more physical guy (which is what we need in the playoffs).

As for the deadline I think we add a backup goalie, a winger for Geno and maybe some extra forward depth just in case. Guys like Anderson, Holtby, and Halak could be potential backup trade options. As for the forwards there are a lot of options. Just to name a few maybe Rakell, Gurianov, Debrusk, Kubalik, Olofsson, Okposo even. Idk theres alot of options.
