Description

I have no idea on the supposed injury to Lupul on whether or not he can play. In terms of salary cap if Lupul is healthy Flyers then have the option of trading Bellamere, Laughton, or sending Laughton/Kapanen down or both. If Lupul is not healthy they may put him on LTIR. Also, I tried to make the Toronto trade as fair as possible, but I'm unsure if Flyers would need to sweeten the pot more to pry Kapanen away. Longterm the Flyers gain Kapanen and Lupul contract is up after this year similar to Fippula, except Lupul's actual salary is only 3.75 mil

I was cap compliant when I put Lupul on LTIR. I started Laughton in AHL and once Lupul is on LTIR you can call Laughton up. As for the trade it would be an interesting to see just how much Kapanen is worth to TOR, especially if they can fill a hole, and eliminate some of the log jam at forward since Lupul's status health is unknown.
