Not sure if you know what an Expansion Draft is. Every team can protect a certain number of F, D, G, etc. You would have to be stupid to leave most of these players unprotected. Many of the players are still on their entry level contract. They will want 6-8 million for a few years. This would push this team way over the cap limit.
