Description
Sedins on expiring contracts may fit well with an Oiler team needing to hand out a lot of money next year. They just might be effective players on a team where they are not needed to be the top minute guys.

They may not... but best bet to try and get them to waive would be the opportunity to play a year with arguably the best player in the world, on a youthful team where they could have a shot at a cup without having to be the focal point... and the team has the cap room. Still think it'd be harder to convince Chiarelli, then it would be to convince the twins.

Fully aware of this... I also realize that a lot people say things and then the opposite happens. But... agreed it's a stretch to think they'll be convinced to play elsewhere, but this is a hypothetical that would make sense.
