Description

Buffalo gets the top 4 and future top 2D-man they have been looking for and giving up the first rounder in the process. With the draft not being as deep as years prior this gives buffalo the option to use their first pick to get Hannifin and give Justin Bailey to make the deal a bit sweeter. CAR gets a possible top 5 pick and they got some of the best D prospects in the league with Jake Bean coming up soon to be an NHL regular, so giving up Hanifin won't be the end of the world. Good trade for both teams.

No way Carolina would make this trade. Bailey is worth a 5th round at best. Only Sabres fans value Bailey as anything more than a career AHL player.
