Why did you bother signing King? Has it not been painfully obvious he is terrible? At least one could argue Ott has had his moments/uses.

He has playoff experience. Look at his stats in the playoffs. He's not bad. Plus he bring a physical element to the bottom 6. Also he is a good penalty killer

I think the question is, for what he's offering (size/playoff experience) after the Habs playoff run is her worth 1.9? Time will tell, I would love to see his playoff experience culminate in a pwf type of player adding depth scoring to our bottom six. My feeling is we won't see that King however and think that he benefited from "the right" environment in LA and has since changed (he was traded away for a reason, maybe not a preferred omission but he wasn't exactly getting it done)
