got to say the leafs team are really getting fun to watch and they will only get better but going forward I can't see leafs team treading players for draft picks... I am thinking getting draft picks have sailed on for them... its something they should have done last year if they wanted more picks. I am thinking, if I were a GM for leafs now they would trade players to fill in the void space (defense). As for draft picks for those players that you mentioned ... it may be something of that value but who knows what that would be depending on when the trade is made.

No way will Brendan Smith sign with the Leafs Not with Babcock there Smith has been in Babcocks doghouse far too long and Detroit offered him more then that and he said no. It will take at least 4x4 to sign Smith.
