I'm assuming that Getzlaf retires
Move on from Rackell in exchange for a better winger in Hertl
Keep Lindholm and Manson. Manson is having a down year so he might be willing to take a paycut. Lindholm? He might get a million more but he's so undervalued that I think Anaheim can retain him for < 7 million
I signed Kulak for a guaranteed 6/7th D if nobody develops
The main focus of this roster is to upgrade the depth while maximizing cap space for the next two years when Comtois, Terry, Zegras, McTavish, and Drysdale all need new contracts. While moving on from Fowler, Henrique, and/or Silfverberg might become necessary. Regardless, Hertl acts as a replacement as a legit top 6 option. Lindholm is the #1 D until Drysdale develops
As for depth, I mostly used in-house options and prove it players (and minor leaguers for the minor league)
This roster bolsters the depth so they can take the next step, ensures 33 million next offseason (and another guaranteed 16 for two years down the line)
No draft capital or prospects are lost and more quality depth can emerge if any of the offseason acquisitions blow up in their faces
