I think you are undervaluing Schultz here. Dillon got two 2nds, and Schultz is a offensive minded RHD (which is pretty rare). Assuming this move is at the trade deadline, teams would love to have a player like Schultz who will be an UFA at the end of the year...

As far as Sammy, I would rather have him than Copley for our playoff run (knock on wood). Yes, we could lose him for nothing in the offseason (if not resigned), but he is better than Copley.

Hard to say … Copley has a .905s% and that would make VV the clear cut starter while also gaining what we can for Sammy

Schultz is good but no salary retainer maybe he could get a 2nd being really optimistic
