The idea of Eichel being traded at the deadline is not a thought at the moment. "What Eichel will we see?" is dependent on what medical treatment he receives, the length of recovery and rehabilitation for him to return to form, how soon he returns to play for the Sabres, and how he plays.

I'd say Eichel is either traded by this years trade deadline or very early next off-season. Don't see how Eichel ever suits up for the Sabres again at this point
