Kotkaniemi probably wants more if he works out. Necas most likely gets a better offer from Montreal.

1. Morgan Rielly will want more with how the free agency went this year, probably around 8-8.5 million a year.
2. This defence is good without Rielly.
3. They need some more depth to truly be in the competition for the Cup.

This is a good team but not one that is going to win a cup. A couple of role players and guys who can kill penaltys easily are the only thing missing from this team. Good job with this, I like the team.

but yeah the team def needs more depth. i cld see rielly coming to carolina for cheaper than market value (7-7.5) because of the allure of a cup team that also pays well (toronto likely doesn't go above 6.5). but yeah 8 is possible.
