Can’t say I follow the stars too much. Last I remember Faksa was a decent 3C with possible 2C potential. He’s a little older now, do you think he’s a solid 3C or more like a 4C now?

Faksa had a somewhat down year this year, but he played with a broken wrist, and he played with some of the worst players in the league last year in Cogliano and Comeau. He’s about a 30-35 point shutdown centre who’s very good at faceoffs, and is a good physical player.

This year he played like a fringe 3rd C, but if he actually gets good linemates and gets fully healthy he could very well be a 3rd line centre like he’s proven to be in 2016-18.

Would you be interested if you get rid of JVR’s full contract? We can give picks to a team like Buffalo to retain the 50%. If we take on his full contract what would you want?
