I would really love to see this happen at the deadline. The only thing is that you know that there is no chance Girardi is being scratched. It would probably be Staal-Smith Skjei-G. TBH Girardi hasn't been playing that bad and I don't think he would be that bad playing third pairing minutes with Skjei who is a beast.

Only thing I'd try to do is offer Halvy over Huska. Imo its better to let Huska develop and give us another option if something happens to Shestyorkin's development

I know he won't which sucks. When he doesn't, I'd like to see:
McDonagh-Smith
Staal-Shattenkirk
Skjei-Girardi

I would too, but Huska is a better prospect and I can't see STL asking for Halverson instead of Huska
