1. Getting Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Jesper Fast would solidify our bottom-six, with both players non-liabilities on offense.

2. Jake Muzzin and Paul LaDue are paired up, and they will take more offensive zone shifts.

3. Adrian Kempe gets bumped to the top line, which gives Kopitar a speedy winger.

4. Peter Budaj's raise might not be as lucrative due to his age. (Age-35 season in 2017-18)

5. Cap flexibility is maintained ($2.5 million in cap room), but this means Dwight King is not resigned. (expected to earn a Lewis-type deal)

6. Matt Greene is assumed to be out long term (a-la Joffrey Lupul and Clarke MacArthur) and Kyle Clifford goes to the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Team Strengths
- Four lines that can do damage, with a good mix of offensive skill and defensive acumen
- Better skaters up and down the lineup, allowing for a faster pace to be played

- Less size in this lineup, due to the losses of Dwight King, Kyle Clifford and Brayden McNabb.
