Nah, Sabres making their own push, theyre probably not selling unless they lay an egg the next 4 before the deadline (CHI, COL, ARI, NSH). Sabres can realistically take 6 of 8 points there and even maybe steal another one. If they do they will still be in the fray and will have no reason to trade their roster players unless they are getting an upgrade.

Maybe, but that wouldn't be very self aware from a management perspective, they arnt a team that cares about making money.

Probably both wild cards are coming from the Metro, and they have to jump 3 teams... I don't see it

Thats insanely wrong. Franson has been the 3rd best defender on the team, especially since January on.

I think Buffalo is going to move a couple pieces possibly, but not Franson. He's been one of the healthiest dmen and has found his groove the last month. Wouldn't be surprised to see Buffalo look to sign him to a short extension

Yes he has been a better defender but after risto and mccabe he doesnt have much compition. I feel bad for Lehner haveing a terriable D core in front of him. Lehner is holding this team together defensivly

Probably wont but the Sabres are done rebuilding so they need to switch gears from selling at the deadline to contending. Not going to give yourself a chance if youre selling off your parts at every deadline. GMTM gains more from this team by giving them a chance to make a run than whatever return he gets from a late round 2nd in a weak draft.
