No thanks. That is an overpay IMO. Mangiapane is simply not available IMO. I would do Zary tho

Its just Mangiapane is easily our best contract(if not top 3) and is amazing defensively. I could see him getting nominated for a few Selke trophies in a few years. And he really raised his value during that tournament(can't remember what it was called there are so many hockey tournaments). Yes he is due for a big raise after this year but still.

And I am even hesitant about that. Zary is easily top 3 prospect in our system and Tkachuk is one of the most hated players in the leauge with his game style. And that 1st could be a good one based on how they do in free agency

Honestly if you aren't willing to overpay I feel like Eichel is untouchable.

But this current trade is something that could probably close to fair. Throw in another prospect and it probably gets done.

That’s perfectly fine that he’s untouchable if a team is unwilling to overpay. The kids a franchise changing player when healthy but his career is such an unknown right now with his injury that it’s not really worth a team blowing itself up for him if he comes back as half the player that he was.
