After drafting Lysell, I don’t think the Bruins should go after a long-term 2RW. Some of the best options (Eberle, Garland) are gone, and there needs to room for Lysell to step into the NHL in 2-3 years. McAvoy will also need a new deal next season, which will likely be around $8M per year, so avoiding any long-term expensive contracts will help the Bruins to afford him. They can probably get Rakell or Forsberg at the deadline if scoring is an issue. Studnicka has reportedly been training really well this summer, and hopefully playing a big role on the 3rd line next season will help him prepare to take Krejci’s 2C spot once he retires. Froden, Steen, Senyshyn, or even Lysell will also be competing for the 3RW spot but I think it’s Studnicka’s to lose.
