Why would the Sabres not bring back RFA Lehner, he's been one of the best players on the team this year. The Sabres might need a backup, only if Ullmark is lost to Vegas or refuses to sign, but their is no reason to pay more than $1mil for a back up goalie... I doubt the Sabres make another long term, expensive signing this offseason, they have a ton of RFA's to sign in 2 years, including the 2 franchise players. Nylander is going to have to make huge strides this offseason to make this team next year...

Agree with Shibbal. The only "big" UFA signing I see Buffalo making is signing a defenseman. I doubt it'll be Shattenkirk but maybe a top-4 vet like Oduya. Otherwise, get your own signed and maybe move a forward for a defenseman to help our biggest weakness

I doubt Oshie comes to Buffalo and I would rather have them move on from Franson. If you wanta UFA dman I would look to Alzner or Stone.
