Hawks aren't trading Debrincat

Assuming you could get all these moves done (which you couldn't... but you said "dream team" so I will dream with you) why would you buy out Ericsson? You obviously don't need the cap space? Why not just eat the contract and get him off the books sooner? Just bury him.

Honestly, I like these as a dream team. We won't do all of them obviously, and Chicago won't trade DeBrincat ( its wishful thinking). The only real problem i have with this is we eliminated the cap hit which is good, but now we don't even meet floor requirements. Meaning we'd have to sign someone big time or bring someone in. We have lots of players to sign so I don't think it would be an issue. Also, I don't know anything about Bear. Is he suppose to be good?

Bear is a very solid prospect B+/A- I would say. To reach the cap floor you just wouldn't use LTIR. Keeping Kronwall's and Franzen's cap hits on the book will help us get there. Plus, as I said above, idk why Ericsson is bought out. Keep his cap hit to reach the floor and get t off the books sooner.

Florida has 7+ million tied up with two goalies already. Unless they move one, there is no way they go for Howard.
