Dear Jim, Excellent work acquiring a shut down center, I'm glad you took my advice ;) and I'm impressed you were able to pay less than I suggested.

Here is the rest of the plan, moving Schmidt is difficult and you likely won't be able to replace his contributions but we need the cap space. The Hawks are in a market for a quality Dman and expect they'll be interested if they miss on Hamilton and/or Jones.

Arizona needs some character guys and by retaining 1M on Beagle they get him for 700k. MacEwen is also a good depth guy.

Edler will come back once he realizes what's the market willing to pay.
