Were the signing bonuses for the 21-22 season paid on the normal date, which I believe would be 7/1/21? If a team trades for a player after the bonus has been paid, they don’t have to repay the bonus to the other team, correct? How about the Kraken, if they pick a player in the expansion draft, do they avoid having to pay any signing bonus for this season, because it was already paid? If that is the case, it might affect who they draft. The timing was not the same during the Vegas expansion draft, since it occurred in June, prior to the 7/1 bonus payment date. Thanks.
