the trade is super fair, i have a feeling both teams would accept. and if you throw him up with Connor he is fast enough to keep up, add a little grit to help out McDavid and will probably produce 35 goal 70 point season. his regression has more to do with the level of talent around him than him a a player.

I personally don't think so Yamamoto shows great potential is 2 years younger than Meier and put up only 10 less points last year. Lavoie is a very good 2nd pick that they took and that 1st could get them a goalie prospect in Cossa that they desperately need.
