how are you looking at this trade exactly? Plekanec for Iginla? Callagher and 2nd for Landeskog? Ain't gonna happen. Colorado would give up Iginla's contract for another year of Plekanec? And Gallagher and a 2nd! just not enough there

Well I look at landeskog best season 65 points, the rest are 50 point season and this year he is having an off year. I look at gallagher who was on pace for 60 points last year and is almost $2 million cheaper on the cap. I think value wise gallagher and a 2nd is fair for landeskog. Not saying that's what colorado is looking for but that's what I would offer. Colorado could retain salary on plekanec and trade him for draft picks he'd be a useful player on a smaller contract. Igin la is pretty much done the only reason he is in the trade is to give his last chance at a cup and because if montreal is going to acquire landeskog at 5.5 mil then they can't afford to have plekanec next year.

If Colorado can trade Plekanec for picks then I would let Montreal do it. Good luck....
Landeskog might be having a slump year and hasn't reached certain amount of points...did you see the roster in Colorado? He is much more value then Gallagher. In Montreal we have the impression he's a 60-65 point player. He's a really good third liner who will work hard and bust chops. He's not a Marchand like everyone wishes. And he can be on pace for anything during the beginning of the year. Gm's dont care what a players pace is. Byron, Danault and so on were and paces also at the beginning of the year.

If I were Colorado the first name we start with in a trade is Sergachev. They are asking for Carlo or McAvoy in Boston and other top D legitimate prospects why would it be different for Montreal?
