Seems like a pretty bad trade for toronto

I love Rielly. But if somehow it involves getting Reilly Smith by trading him.... I am listening.

Eh, it’s closer than you’d think. Vegas gets another top 4 defensemen, depth, and a decent prospect. Toronto gets a winger (position of need), a top 4 defenseman (replaces Rielly), and a 4th. I think Toronto should drop the 2nd going to Vegas but there’s some good pieces here.

Smith would be a great winger to have on the 3rd line and McNabb is a tough hard hitting D man, He's no Riley but if you get a package including Smith and McNabb It wouldn't be such a bad return package

Actually not a bad trade for either team. Remove the picks from both teams and it goes through I believe.
