I think Steel is selected in the expansion draft after protecting Lundestrom, Rakell, Terry, Jones, Lindholm, Fowler, Manson, Fleury. Mahura could be taken or steel

The Eichel trade may not be enough value but I think Comtois, 3rd overall, and perrault is good value. Henrique can still play middle six and makes the salary work plus a second in 2022 as henrique has 3 years left.

After making this trade, the ducks lack players to play with Zegras/Eichel. I think if they trade for Eichel they should make a push to be more competitive. Hoffman and Dzingel add some scoring support for both Z and Eichel but any other free agent could be slotted in here as the ducks have the salary space even without using Kesler's LTIR.

If they cant get EIchel they should just trade Manson, Lindholm, and Rakell for any assets and stay the course with the rebuild. Maybe sign some UFAs to 1 year deals and flip at the deadline.
