As unrealistic this is, and I won't comment on values etc. However this is literally one of the only posts I have seen that trades Rielly and Marner and is acquiring suitable assets to replace. Every other post I see has gaping holes after dumping them.

Miller, Chychrun, Dvorak to me make up the losses with Rielly and Marner. Everyone but Leaf fans know that Rielly is an excellent top pairing defenseman and that Marner is an elite winger.

The problem is, the trades only work if you do both of them. If Arizona accept and Van rejects, you have too many Defenseman and a hole in the top 6. If Van accepts and Arizona rejects, you added a top 6 F but causes a massive hole on the back end.

Imo it’s too high risk and it paints the leafs into a corner where they may have to get desperate.





Also Van easily rejects
