As fun as the idea is, I think the Hawks have to say no to that trade. Losing Dach + Strome + 2 1sts for Eichel makes us better for a year or two maybe, but the cap repercussions and the lost talent and rookies will hurt too much.

I also think signing folks like Raffl, Perry, and Saad doesn't make any sense when we have players like Hagel, Kurashev, and Nylander fighting for minutes, and folks like Vinnie on the outside looking in.

The cap repercussions are gone after 2 years when toews etc come off.
