The Rangers will be screwed cap wise if they trade for Eichel, unless Laf is going the other way (which won't happen)

This isn't bad but look for someone with term still to get with Eichel, like Thompson.

I think this trade is actually pretty realistic. Kaapo Kakko is still a young, high end piece they can build around, Lundqvist is one of their best prospects, Chytil is a good 3C, and 2 firsts, one lottery pick and one probably in the low 20's is a solid trade. Eakin is a cap dump who can be their 4th line C and they get a 3rd rounder back for taking him.

I do think this trade is very fair valued. Im just pointing out how the Rangers wouldn't have money to pay Fox in the offseason, and Laf next offseason
