I'd do the Reinhart deal if the 2nd round pick was decreased. You're sending cap back - that's essential, but no negative value contracts. Equivalently if Holtby and Loui swapped places in the trades, it's good by me.

I do like Sam's fit here. I think he could even turn out better than Brock in a vacuum.

He's not negative value. Stats are deflated from a rough start. Has been competent since then. If Ullmark walks, there's no reason to turn him down.

He is definitely negative value. Hes had plenty of rough starts in his career only to be bailed out by a cup caliber Capitals roster. Like I said Id rather start the year with Houser

I need to add the 2nd because buffalo wants a decent D prospect Vancouver doesn’t have any they would wanna give so we add the 2nd to give more value, otherwise they can get a better return from another team.
