No, it is free to join and play.

Yes you need an NHL.com account which is free to make.
Is there a prize?
No prize just the title of CF Bracket champion.
Is there a deadline to fill out my bracket and when can I make my picks?
Yes, picks must be made before Game 1 on Saturday, and picks will open when all playoff matchups are confirmed. Watch this thread I will post when picks open up.
