fair point. made a mistake on varly

pageau is much worse than wally and hischier. also, hischier has been a very strong leader for the devils this season; i like wally a lot tho

I like Varlamov, but he is definitely not the best goalie in the east. Rask may be getting older, but he's still at least a top-three goalie in the league. Varlamov's success is mainly because the Isles are so good on defense. There's a long list of Isles goalies who are really good in New York but go on to be mediocre at best elsewhere (looking at you Thomas Griess).

100% agree. blackwood, shesty, sorokin, and hart are all also going to be stellar in the future. i changed it but i certainly attest to your point that rask remains the top goalie in the east (although maybe not this season) and a top 5 in the league. the 4 young ones i've cited are also all going to be top 15 goalies, at least, in the future.
