Mantha is playing on the left side with Backstrom and Oshie right now. But anyway it's two top-6 wingers going out and one coming in, and that's not good enough for a contender with no other wingers ready for a consistent role in the top-6.

I'm not the only one referring to Oshie as a top-6 winger. He's good at both ends of the ice while scoring 0.78 ppg. That's pretty good for someone turning 35. Will he be able to keep it up for the remainder of his contract? Probably no. But he's a top-6er right now and he's an important player in Washington.
