Evidently the combos in the top 6 have been subpar, outside of Mcd-Drai, but that is unsustainable as a regular combo imo. Should be a "surprise punch".

We know Nuge-Drai-Yamo has been fantastic before. Fans harp on it all the time to return, and I'd say the lack of getting a LW at the tdl and Nuge's terrible 5v5 numbers with McD suggest it is the only logical next step.

Next, Kahun has barely been tried with McD and Pulju. It makes a lot of sense - Pulju doesn't get pushed around, and McD is chased around often by a second player. Kahun needs that extra space to make plays, and when he gets it he can actually be pretty good. He just can't create the space himself. Pulju and McD would provide him the most space to make some plays in close to the net and hopefully pot/create some goals.

3rd line has been great, keep it rolling. 4th line a mishmash, can swap in Neal and Ennis depending on who is hot, but hoping Chiasson and Kass get going well, they give some size and grit there.

On D, Bear is back up to speed alright, and I think should go with Nurse for a while, if mainly to give Barrie a bit less intensity. Need Barrie at his best come playoffs, reality is he is being worn down. With Kulikov, he can play less minutes and with a pretty steady defensive partner. Bouch should also step in here for a few games if Barrie looks really haggard and slow continuously, as he really has been tbh. Then Larsson and either Jones/Russell/Lagesson can round out, with Larsson Kulikov doing the PK.
