Pavelski is still performing at a high level; he leads the league in power play goals and is close to a point-a-game scoring pace. Cogliano has intangibles; good faceoff percentage, hard nosed, and has offensive ability. Isles keeping Nelson would be ideal if he was more consistent offensively and defensively. If his level of play already peaked career wise, then his contract is going to hurt the team down the line. I think Bailey's contract will hurt down the line also. For any trade, the Isles would need to give up some assets, especially if Dallas or another team is taking Komarov's contract. I also think that the Isles will lose one of their defenseman in the expansion draft and my guess would be Mayfield because he's solid and has a cap friendly contract. And I think Bellows has skill and value but I'm not sure the Isles would consider him a top three prospect at this point (I read that the Isles are really high on Buldoc). I think Bellows is being looked at as a trade chip now. Plus I think this is his contract year so they may lose him anyway.
