Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Klef - assuming his surgery recovery is going well, so that he is protected and Seattle takes Jones.

CBJ trade - I feel with Jesse's resurgence and Yamo still showing that, while not as hot as last season, he's on a top 6 trajectory, there is less worry about using Lavoie as a trade chip, especially for the Oilers' needs in net. Stalock may be fine as backup, but I'd use the extra cap space to seek a solid vet backup so Elvis doesn't play more than 50 games.

Bozak - I think he'd fit better as a 3C who can actually check, and work the cycle with a guy like Kass. Holloway may really fit here if he comes into camp all guns blazing as he looks to be ready to.

Tatar - I feel he could get 30 goals again once or twice on McD's wing. A bit inconsistent which is a little worrying, but with Nuge on the LW too he won't get too many tough defensive assignments - just chances to score on one of the top two lines. I feel he may garner a shorter term deal than some other FA's anyway, which is a good idea with Holloway poised to probably be top 6 ready in a couple of years too.

Sign Larsson over Barrie - Larsson will probably command at least 2 mil less, and likely less term. Further, Larsson is not replaceable on the right side within the org, whereas Bouchard can replace Barrie (not saying he will be equivalent to Barrie next season, but soon enough. And he very well could put up pretty big numbers right away with increased TOI). Further, if Klef does come back (as I assume here), and Bear is at full health to start the year, Nurse, Klef and Bear will all play 20 plus minutes, and Larsson as well on big PK nights. So Bouch will just have part time PP duties most likely, and not be pressured into big minutes unless he earns them.
