I'm a Flyers fan and if we give VV and PEB's anywhere near that money I will be furious. Also, Mase and Ghost contracts are really low compared to market value and player comparisons so I doubt they sign a deal like; especially with such short term. Additionally, the Flyers are not going to sign two 30+ year old defensman when we could get MDZ back on a similar deal and he is definitely better - and the fact that we have serious depth in the defensive blue line. There is no way we trade all that for Filpulla either just to help the Lightening out. Maybe if it was Tyler Johnson or Drouin instead they would entertain that deal.

I get what you were trying to do in bringing in right handed shot defensmen but the moves jsut don't make so much sense and in my opinion make this team a lot worse.

This. They're making <900k or they won't be back (like White). Wouldn't mind Franson for one year but not both. Not sure why we're moving Morin for a soon to be 33 years old center?
