We need cap to sign Dougie and Svech, and to get an ELITE prospect in Bouchard along with a first and second back for him (koekkoek is useless) would be something that Waddell would have a hard time to deny.

I think right now we are protecting 3 of the 4: Hamilton (if we're resigning him), Pesce, Slavin, Bean. Skjei might either get trade or taken by seattle.

I mean if we giving up one of our best forwards whos already does a lot for the canes on the ice and the chemistry between him and aho we better protect him and skjei has to get traded. but im interested in potentially seein the canes give up a first or second and skjei too seatte to convice them not to take who ever goes unprotected between bean and bouchard
