Wow it's rare to see someone rank Seider above Byram. Byram has been adapting to the NHL well. Seider has been looking really good in the SHL and being on one of the best, if not the best, teams and being one of the most relied on defenseman. As a Wings fan and Seider fan I agree, with bias, but we have to see how Seider does in the NHL. I think he'll adapt well, I'm excited to watch him.

I was initially shocked at that pick, but Seider has been putting on a show in the SHL. He may be the piece that can steer the wings in the right direction if he comes to the NHL next season.
