Description

Elliot has proven the he cannot take on the sole starter role for any team and without the best defense in the NHL or at least one of, he is merely a 1B at best so why not find him a helper!

Of course Igor would have to come over after the KHL season, and I honestly does when that ends so maybe the deadline trade. Idk but hey if Igor is doing this well we should be able to move Raanta for some good assets like we did Talbot

Like the Flames take a a excellent 1B goalie and a 20 year old ECHL goalie (THey already have 6 goalies in the system!) for one of their best prospects and a 4th.......

Rangers POV...
1) Igor Shesterkin is arguably our top prospect, but he is not ready to play in the NHL, and still has time on his KHL contract.
2) Why would we trade Raanta and Halverson for a forward prospect when we have arguably the best offense in the league?
3) Calgary has a lot of young goalie prospects, I highly doubt they would need a top tier backup and a prospect.
