IF we don't bring back Ennis, then we're kind of screwed for top LW. Duclair just told Dorian to piss off, so maybe he's an option? Scared of the term, so I'm going possibly unrealistic with it. My Ennis contract would be 2x2.8ish (3x3 before the injury).
While I think Bulju should play 1st line right away, the b@stard culture of Edmonton dictates that you have to earn that spot if you're European. So, I guess he'll have to start on the 3rd. Eventually, he will end up with Dave on the top line and we should be looking good.
Don't really have a clue what Koivu would ask for, I think he's worth around the 2-2.5 range. I think Mikael Granlund would be spectacular on that third line, but he will absolutely get overpaid by some team looking to play him top 6.
Koskinen CAN handle 50 games and if you think he's bad you are bad. Options suck for a backup, Dell still serviceable despite playing on a landfill of an NHL team.
Chiasson for Bjork seems to be inevitable. RIP Boston. Have a 6th from your friend Dunda.
Keeping Larsson and Russell, we had the #1 PK for a reason. They're both UFA soon anyway.
Boyd is a right shooting centre, has great advanced numbers and would be able to fill in on both C and RW for us. No brainer as an extra FW in my eyes. Would honestly like to do 2 years, but I won't go crazy.

LW situation is MUCH better now and so flexible. Nurse playing Klef's mins is terrifying, but Jones, Bear and Bouchard all stepping up is very promising and very exciting. Feel good about this team.
The rollicking team explanation was worth the click alone. What do you dislike about signing Barrie? Seems like exactly the tonic for them.
I have many issues with Barrie:
1. He's a PP specialist, we had the best PP in the league already. A redudant skill for us.
2. He is very bad at defense
3. He will get a bad contract
4. Bouchard would lose that spot, Bear would end up playing less minutes. As well, Bouchard will slot in to our first unit PP just as nicely as Barrie.
And I'll just say about Markstrom that he will end up costing us too much cap when we need to fill the team out more. As well, Koskinen is more than good enough to play #1 this year.
