I hate to see Eichel leave the Sabres, but he wants to go home and how can it not be worth it for the STUD David Krejci. What a player Buffalo is getting back, I can't see how they reject!

I doubt Buffalo would send a franchise center to Boston for NICK RITCHIE and david krejci, who's already a cap nightmare.

Krejci for Eichel one for one benefits Boston. Eichel is a young franchise superstar who has yet to hit his peak. Krejci is a stud and worth his $7.2 mil cap hit, but he is aging and past his prime, and even now Eichel is better than him. By the time Buffalo is a true Stanley Cup contender, Krejci will be too old to be very productive at all. The other half of this trade makes no sense, Nick Ritchie is worth a bottom 6 forward at most, and trading a first round pick for him would be insane. Both pieces of this trade heavily benefit Boston.
