Chaisson I'm not sure is quite the guy to really move the needle a ton. That's fine value for him, but he's a very one dimensional player. I'd rather play Noesen at 4RW, draw Gregor into the lineup as a replacement to Chaisson, then sign someone better and more expensive than Galchenyuk in free agency. That's just me though.

I look at Galchenyuk as someone who can replace the grit that Dillon had, and think that he has potential to bounce back. Same bounce back potential with Chiasson. He had 22 - 16 the year before this COVID shortened season. Plus, we need another RH shot on the RW. Tired of having all these lefties on the right side (even though I slotted Timo on the RW). I don't see much in the UFA department between the Galchenyuk/Fast grouping until the top tier FAs that we won't be going after. That's why I went more mid-tier w/potential type of guys.

I think seeing him in 2 different jerseys that weren't teal over the last couple of seasons has made me lose my sentimental feelings towards him. I'm sure he'll get brought back, but I won't be upset if they choose not to.
