Where'd you hear this rumor? If it's a fan proposal then that's not a rumor. Also that deal isn't really an overpayment. value wise, it's fair. Griffith is nothing more than a throw in. The basis of the deal, Spooner - zboril - 1st, works.


I get Winnipeg WANTS a comparable LHD for Trouba but what they want and what they'll get are two different things. How many teams in the NHL have a LHD that could be expendable for Trouba? Please keep in mind the cap, Teams internal caps and which teams have a LHD like that who is expendable (because teams won't want to weaken their left side to strengthen their right side).

Personally. I can't find a team who, at least right now, is really going to give up what Winnipeg wants. Also read from a jets fan on here that the play of morrissey could potentially help Chevy maybe look for the best package over this LHD that may not be available.

It was from a couple of writers that I've now forgot. Not a fan rumor though. I seriously doubt the Bruins trade Krug. They just signed him and they really like him. I also doubt that Winn gets what they want for him. A 1 for 1 trade of a Dman for him doesn't feel like it's going to happen. He requested a trade in May and he's still there.
