alright I know we all hate Larry Brooks but lets talk about this. I dont hate the idea of bringing in Matt Martin to solidify the 4th line. I think he was awesome in the playoffs and definitely brought a different element to that islanders line up. However, Larry Brooks expects him to get deal around 2.5 for at least 2 years. I can't see the rangers giving that type of money to a fourth liner. Why not just sign fast at that point. But it wouldn't surprise me.
What do you think of bringing in Matt Martin and if the rangers were to sign him what do you think the price tag will be.

I just dont like the cap hit. I'd rather resign fast at that point. If he comes in below 2mill I'd be all over.

it will be bad when we have to put money into kakko, shesterkin, Zibanejad, Buchnevich, fox, Lindgren, chytil etc.
We will see I just want this to come faster.

or just keep him and let him help teach Shesterkin. Then move Georgiev for a decent return. Could also move Buch or Kreider ( CK will be harder to move) with the wing depth they have. i agree though, just resign Fast for the 3rd/4th line imo.
