I hear ya! Teams have specific needs that can be addressed if the other party is willing. Winnipeg is in the market for a top 4 LHD and could deal from strength on the other side. Although Detroit has longed for a potentially great, young RHD for a long time, they may have to sacrifice someone like DeKeyser. (Very similar to a noted Chicago trade with the Jets). Both solid in their own rights, and would be worth pursuing. Only thing wrong, tho, is their LHD corp seems to be thin with this trade, especially if the Fowler deal falls thru.

completely agree on the left side being weak if the fowler trade fell through. i guess you would just have to make the trades sort of co dependant. however at this point i think detroit dealing just for fowler seems a lot more likely than any chance of trouba coming back to his roots
